Description
The horse is named Follows Closely and her warrior is called Stone Bear. They are completely dedicated to each other, having been together since they were both young. Stone Bear is a Comanche warrior, and as such was trained to ride at a very early age.
In case you can't tell, Follows Closely is doing a sliding stop and Stone Bear is swinging down from her neck, ready for a fight!
This is based on a poem I wrote a long time ago about these two. The poem was entered in a contest it didn't win and I haven't seen it since. But these two live on!

I could tell what was happening here instantly, you have painted this extreamly well, I can see the trees blured in the background, this is a very three dynamic painting and you have somehow captured motion very well in a still image. : )
