I've always known what my life was supposed to be. On career day I took the stupid test like everyone else. Got my results like everyone else: Nurse. My parents were thrilled. Both my mother and step father worked at a hospital. As an aimless teenager I thought this might finally give me some direction for my life. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Cleo brandished the coat-rack like a pronged lance. In a sweeping motion that took all the force she could muster she knocked over two of the things. Here she was, backed into a corner, coat rack in hand, fending them off, as they screamed and clawed for her. Panic made Cleo fight impressively. If she could just get to the desk... Behind it Miles was pinned down. He was trying to save his bullets and hadn't fired in a while, but she knew he was still alive down there judging by the constant stream of swearing.
